Yes, summer is definitely here : school’s doors are closed, festivals are in full bloom, we have drinks outside and we can smell basil and lavender…
We want to share with you some of the things we did this springtime as things go a little quieter here.
My Travel Angel had the opportunity to work with Kuoni Switzerland on two bespoke tours. We created and implemented two exclusive tours for fine arts lovers. One for La Société Vaudoise des Beaux-Arts and one for Les Amis de la Fondation de l’Hermitage.
One of the tour focused on Die Brücke exhibition at the Musée de Grenoble and the other one on Robert Combas retrospective at Musée d’Art Contemporain de Lyon. These 2 major features were complimented by a programme full of activities such as meeting a local storyteller in the cobbled streets of the old Lyon for an insider’s peek of Lyon’s history, seeing Lyon in a different light while enjoying dinner on a boat, discovering the museums of Lyon with carefully selected guides (Musées Gadagne, Musée des tissus et des Arts Décoratifs, Maison des Canuts, Musée Lumière) attending a play at Les Célestins and sampling foods from the best restaurants.
Our work was not finished once the tour was created, organized and guests on their way ; My Travel Angel is here all along the way, we’re our clients dedicated Travel Concierge.
For these 2 themed tours, we’ve welcomed the guests upon arrival, checked on them everyday, were constantly in touch with the drivers, guides, museums, restaurants and hotel’s managers to make sure everything was going smoothly. We were able to deal with special diet requirements, organize a last-minute behind-the-scene visit of the opera and buy some food specialties for guests who didn’t have the time to do so.
Both tours were a success and we can’t wait to work with Kuoni again.
Appart from that, we’ve also been busy looking for new business, building partnerships and coming up with new products.
More on its way!
